Since 2001, AFG has helped firefighters and other first responders obtain critically needed resources necessary for protecting the public and emergency personnel from fire and related hazards. NUE battery+solar generators are a great power tool for firefighters in particular, because of the danger of transporting fuel around an active fire event, the importance of communications to firefighting, and our UL94 Fire retardant cases on many of our SunCases.
The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Grant Program is intended to improve emergency management and preparedness capabilities by supporting flexible, sustainable, secure, strategically located, and fully interoperable EOCs with a focus on addressing identified deficiencies and needs. Fully capable emergency operations facilities at the state and local levels are an essential element of a comprehensive national emergency management system and are necessary to ensure continuity of operations and continuity of government in major disasters or emergencies caused by any hazard. Because of how easy they store, NUE Suncases, SunKits, and panels make for a great part of any EOC.

The Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP) plays an important role in the implementation of the National Preparedness System.
