SunStealth™
Go Dark. Stay Alive.

The drone is already looking. Make sure there's nothing to find.

Silent power. Cold comms. Invisible operators. Thermal & RF emissions mitigation for power systems, satellite comms, and the people who carry them — battle-developed in Ukraine, distributed worldwide exclusively by New Use Energy.

The Battlefield Has Eyes

On today's front, heat is a target.

Along a 1,000 km front, ISR drones loiter 20–40 km deep, day and night. An infrared-capable drone now costs under $5,000 — and the moment it spots a warm silhouette, it vectors an FPV attack drone onto that position in seconds.

A running generator can be heard, seen, and tracked by its exhaust plume. A Starlink terminal — the backbone of battlefield video and comms, with 100,000+ in frontline use — glows on thermal against cold ground because it must face open sky.

Your power and your comms are the two things you can't operate without. They are also the two things lighting you up.

Thermal SignatureEvery warm surface reads as a target from above.

The Technology

A two-layer system that beats the sensor.

SunStealth doesn't hide heat — it manages it. The signature is blocked, scattered, and inverted so a thermal imager can't resolve a target worth striking.

Power system that must be cloaked

Layer 1 — Thermal trap

A proprietary insulative fabric snugs to the equipment. A center stand-off channels heat into a managed dissipation zone instead of a bright, gear-shaped hot spot.

Laser-cut IR scatter overlay

Layer 2 — IR scatter

Laser-cut overlays break up thermal shape and diffuse residual emission, so what little heat escapes never resolves into a recognizable silhouette.

Operator masked from radar and thermal

Confirmed RF scatter

Field-confirmed in Ukraine: the material also scatters radar (RLS) beams — at 100–500 m an operator can mask body-worn radios and equipment from detection.

Endurance that doesn't fade. Masking is not limited by activity level or duration of use. Legacy anti-thermal solutions degrade after ~40 minutes; SunStealth holds its signature suppression across the full mission.
Terrain the operator disappears into

Invisible In Plain Sight

Beat the thermal imager and the naked eye at the same time.

SunStealth's patterning collapses your infrared signature and blends visually into the surrounding terrain — so whether they're looking through a sensor or a scope, there's nothing to lock onto.

Provenance

Forged on the front. Not in a focus group.

SunStealth wasn't designed to a spec sheet. It was iterated in combat, against real sensors trying to kill the people wearing it — then hardened into products you can field.

SunStealth for Starlink™

Keep the picture up and the terminal cold. SunStealth covers for the Starlink Mini and full-size dishes trap and scatter the heat that makes satcom the easiest thing on the battlefield to find — and they stay secure in operation, even mounted to a drone in flight.

  • Fitted covers for Starlink Mini and Large
  • Thermal insulation + laser-cut IR scatter overlay
  • Remains secure during vehicle and UAV movement
  • Does not degrade Starlink signal performance*

SunStealth for SunCase™

SunStealth thermal cover fitted to a SunCase power station
Power CloakFitted covers for the SunCase™ 605 / 1213 / 2425.

Your power station is the heartbeat of the position — and a running inverter runs warm. SunStealth wraps the SunCase™ line so you keep silent, fuel-free power online without turning your hide into a thermal beacon.

  • Purpose-fit for SunCase™ 605, 1213 & 2425
  • Soft-case option for the 605/1213 and radios
  • Adaptable form factors for other mission equipment
  • Pairs with NUE silent, heat-free battery power

SunStealth Backpack & Spirit Stealth™

The same physics, worn on the body. The SunStealth backpack carries a SunCase™ 605 or similarly-sized load while suppressing its heat — USAF SERE-tested with a running crock-pot as a worst-case thermal source. Spirit Stealth™ garments extend IR camouflage to the operator, blocking, scattering, and inverting the infrared signature while blending visually into terrain.

  • Backpack for the SunCase™ 605 & similar loads
  • USAF SERE-tested thermal performance
  • Human IR-cloak suits: 10,000+ fielded
  • Confirmed radar (RLS) scatter for body-worn kit
