The U.S. designed and manufactured NUE SunWing™ provides the functionality of an enclosed cargo trailer with the added benefit of integrated solar “wings” that provide both power generation as well as protection from the sun (they function as awnings). The enclosed trailer allows greater inverter and battery capacity while also offering secure storage for valuable or sensitive items.

NUE’s proprietary SunWing™ design creates a lightweight, easily deployable solar array that uses the same solar panel technology as the SunTarp™.  The frameless, glass-free panels greatly enhance durability while reducing weight. For added solar generating capacity, extra SunTarps™ can be transported inside the trailer.

The SunWing™ is available in several configurations:

  • Solar capacity 1260W (expandable w/ extra Suntarps in 420W increments)
  • Inverter capacity 5000W to 15000W (120V AC or 240V AC)
  • Battery capacity: 10kWh to 40kWh (larger trailer size can accommodate greater capacity)
