Why Gecko wins

  • Silent and hard to detect. No engine, no exhaust, no heat plume for an adversary's ISR to find.
  • Cuts fuel logistics. Fewer resupply runs and convoys putting personnel at risk.
  • Built for the cold. NUEPower™ 48V heated LiFePO4 runs to −20°C / −4°F; platform rated for deployments down to −40°C.
  • Runs indefinitely. Optional Honda autostart generator takes over when the sun can't.
  • Remote monitoring. Manual or automatic generator starts, refuel forecasts, and daily to monthly solar production, with up to 5 years of local data.

Answers

Solar systems, explained.

What is a solar generator trailer?
A solar generator trailer is a towable microgrid: solar panels, a battery bank and an inverter on one trailer. The SunWing™ Gecko carries up to 5,625W of solar and 40.96kWh of LiFePO4 storage, delivers up to 8kW continuous AC, and deploys in about five minutes without a specialist crew.
Which SunWing™ Gecko model do I need?
Match storage to your overnight load and solar to your daily use. The Gecko-6 (20.48kWh, 3.5kW) suits compact expeditionary sites. The Gecko-9 doubles storage to 40.96kWh with an 8kW, 120/240V inverter. The Gecko-12 and Gecko-15 add solar to harvest up to 30kWh and 38kWh per day for sustained operations.
Can a solar trailer run at night or in bad weather?
Yes. The battery bank carries loads through the night, and an optional Honda autostart generator starts automatically when the batteries need support, so the Gecko can run indefinitely. Remote monitoring forecasts when refueling will be needed.
Does the SunWing™ Gecko work in extreme cold?
Yes. Its NUEPower™ 48V LiFePO4 batteries have built-in heating that keeps them operating to −20°C / −4°F, and the platform is rated for cold-weather deployments down to −40°C.
What can the SunKit™ 6010 power?
The SunKit™ 6010 is a solar UPS with 7.2kW of AC output and 10.2kWh of storage, built for critical loads such as operating rooms, infant incubators, evacuation centers and communications centers. It accepts up to 8,000W of solar and also charges from a generator or the grid.
What's the difference between SunCase™, SunKit™ and SunWing™?
SunCase™ is a portable power station in a hard case (550Wh to 5,120Wh) that people carry. SunKit™ 6010 is a 10.2kWh solar UPS in a steel cabinet for fixed critical loads. SunWing™ Gecko is a towable solar trailer with 20.48kWh to 40.96kWh for sustained operations.
